This suspension kit is designed for Ford Ranger owners who require enhanced load carrying and towing capacity. It raises the vehicle and increases ground clearance, improving vehicle stance and handling when heavily laden.
This kit features Pedders TrakRyder Foam Cell shocks, front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, bushes, and U bolts. It is the third level heavy duty kit designed to raise the Ford Ranger and improve load carrying and towing capabilities. Ideal for vehicles that are constantly heavily laden, this kit prevents the rear from sitting low when towing or carrying loads.
The kit raises the vehicle by approximately 40mm, allowing better ground clearance and the possibility to fit larger tyres. It is not recommended to use this kit for unladen operation due to increased ride harshness. The kit assumes a standard vehicle; additional front equipment such as a winch or bull bar may affect final height and may require different springs.
Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.
The kit includes fully assembled Ezifit struts with Pedders Foam Cell shocks, springs, new top mount bump stops and boots for quick and easy bolt-on installation. No spring compressors or reuse of old parts are necessary. After fitting, a wheel alignment is strongly recommended to optimise vehicle performance.
This kit is suited for vehicles permanently carrying a minimum of 350kg load in the rear. It is not intended for unladen or variably laden operation.
Additional front mounted equipment such as winches or bull bars will affect final ride height; alternative springs may be required for these applications.
