This kit features our excellent Pedders TrakRyder Foam Cell shocks, front coil springs, new rear leaf springs as well as the necessary bushes and U bolts to install them. Additionally It has supplementary air bags.

Demountable campers can prove a challenge when it comes to suspension. They are invariably quite heavy, certainly when you are using them to go away, and often overhang the rear of the vehicle. This overhang excarbates the already heavy weight.
A simple solution is firmer springs. However, springs strong enough to cope with most demountable campers would simply be to firm to be able to use the vehicle in the unladen state.
To address this issue, Pedders have produced a demountable camper kit.
This consists of a full suspension kit, so springs and shocks all round.
At the front, we utilise a raised height spring for improved ground clearance, and a shock valved specifically for comfort and good articulation in off road conditions. At the rear, we use a raised, slightly uprated rear spring, again, combined with a shocks valved for improved ride comfort. When unladen, this ensures that we retain an acceptable level of ride comfort. When laden, as discussed above, we utilise a set of air bags to assist the rear springs in carrying the weight of the demountable camper.
With this combination, we can retain acceptable ride comfort unladen, and still carry the full load with the demountable camper fitted. The air bags in this kit are installed between the rear leaf springs and the chassis rails. The kit as supplied includes our “on board” air option allowing inflation and deflation whenever required
This kit will raise the vehicle by approx. 40mm (see actual dimensions below) allowing better ground clearance. Can be used to accommodate larger tyres. The fully assembled Ezifit struts in this kit allow quick and easy fitment to your vehicle. These feature a Pedders Foam cell shock, Pedders spring as well as new top mount bump stop and boot. No need to use spring compressors or re-use any old parts. Simply bolt straight on.
After fitting we strongly recommend a wheel alignment is carried out for optimum performance of your vehicle.
