This suspension kit is designed for Isuzu D-Max owners who frequently tow or carry heavy loads. It improves load carrying capacity, towing ability, and increases ground clearance for better off-road performance.
This heavy duty suspension kit is the second-level option from Pedders, specifically tailored for vehicles that are heavily laden at all times. It raises the vehicle by approximately 40 mm, providing improved ground clearance and a stronger stance that may help accommodate larger tyres. The kit features front coil springs and rear leaf springs designed to handle constant heavy loads, enhancing both load carrying and towing capability compared to the factory suspension.
Intended primarily for vehicles regularly carrying heavy loads, this kit is not recommended for unladen use due to a firmer ride. It includes all necessary components to replace factory parts, ensuring optimal performance under demanding conditions including off-road use.
Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.
The kit includes fully assembled Ezifit struts combining Pedders Foam Cell shocks, springs, top mounts, bump stops, and boots, allowing for quick bolt-on installation without the need for spring compressors or reusing old parts. After installation, a professional wheel alignment is strongly recommended to optimise handling and tyre life.
This kit is suitable for vehicles usually carrying a minimum of 300 kg load in the rear; operating unladen is not advised due to ride firmness.
Actual ride height may vary depending on vehicle condition and additional accessories such as bull bars or winches, which may require alternative springs.
