This suspension kit is designed for Ford Ranger PX owners who require enhanced load carrying and towing capability along with increased ground clearance. It offers improved ride comfort compared to standard setups while raising the vehicle stance for better off-road performance.
This kit includes front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, Pedders TrakRyder Foam Cell shocks, bushes, and U bolts for installation. It raises the vehicle by approximately 40mm, improving ground clearance and allowing accommodation of larger tyres. The kit is primarily aimed at users whose Ranger sits low at the rear when towing or carrying loads, offering a significant improvement over the standard rear spring while maintaining unladen ride comfort comparable to the original vehicle. It is suitable for daily driving and off-road use where load capacity and ride height are priorities.
Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.
The kit includes fully assembled Ezifit struts featuring Pedders Foam Cell shocks, Pedders springs, new top mounts, bump stops, and boots. These bolt straight onto the vehicle without the need for spring compressors or reusing old parts, and no modifications such as cutting or welding are required. After installation, a professional wheel alignment is strongly recommended for optimal vehicle performance.
This kit is intended for load carrying and towing use where occasional unladen driving occurs; for continuously laden applications, Pedders recommends considering heavier duty options.
Note: Additional front equipment such as bull bars or winches may affect final ride height and may require different springs.
