This suspension kit is designed for Mitsubishi L200 owners who regularly carry heavy loads or tow. It improves load carrying capacity, towing ability, and ground clearance while providing durable components for demanding use.
This kit is the second level heavy duty suspension solution specifically built to raise the Mitsubishi L200 by approximately 30mm. The raised stance allows better ground clearance and improved looks while supporting improved load bearing and towing capabilities. It is especially recommended for vehicles that frequently carry heavy loads or tow, as it helps prevent rear sagging common in these conditions.
The kit includes front coil springs, new rear leaf springs, and Pedders TrakRyder Foam Cell shocks supplied as fully assembled Ezifit struts for straightforward installation. Due to the design, this kit is not recommended for unladen use as the ride will become harsh. A minimum 400kg rear load is advised at all times to maintain comfort and performance. This suspension also accommodates larger tyre sizes.
Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.
The kit includes fully assembled Ezifit struts with Pedders Foam Cell shocks, springs, and new top mount components for quick and easy bolt-on installation without the need to reuse old parts or compress springs. After fitting, a professional wheel alignment is strongly recommended to optimise vehicle performance and handling.
This suspension kit is intended for heavy duty load carrying and towing, not for unladen driving, ensuring optimal support under constant load.
Note: Height measurements assume a standard vehicle. Additional front equipment such as winches or bull bars will affect final ride height and may require different springs.
