This kit raises the vehicle by approximately 40mm, improving ground clearance and allowing for larger tyres. It features front coil springs and new rear leaf springs combined with specially valved Foam Cell shocks to maintain ride comfort both laden and unladen. The included air bags are installed between the rear leaf springs and chassis rails, requiring inflation by an airline when heavily loaded to restore rear ride height.
It is a second-level heavy duty solution for vehicles that sit low when towing or carrying loads but are also used unladen. Typical use cases include vehicles carrying varying loads such as water tanks. For continuously laden use beyond this kit's capacity, a heavier-duty option is recommended.
Foam Cell shock absorbers use a special foam saturated with oil instead of relying on pressurised gas. This design prevents aeration and cavitation, keeping damping forces stable across the full stroke. With greater oil capacity and improved heat dissipation, they resist fade, control temperature, and deliver reliable performance even under demanding use. Their durability makes them well suited for heavy-duty, towing and off-road applications.
The kit includes assembled Foam Cell struts and all necessary hardware such as bushes and U bolts for a bolt-in installation. After fitting, a professional wheel alignment is strongly recommended for optimum vehicle performance.
